Le Massif hors-piste presented by Rossignol

Join one of the guided departures with our Rossignol ambassadors and rediscover the joys of alpine touring, a fast-growing sport in recent years. Improve your technique while having maximum fun with fellow enthusiasts who share your passion!

Group departures are scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. from the summit or the base of the mountain, according to skill level. An intermediate or advanced level in alpine skiing is required for glade skiing.

Equipment  
Alpine touring equipment is required to participate in this event. If you don’t have your own equipment, rentals are available on-site (limited quantities).  Reservations are not available in advance; rentals are first-come, first-served on the day of the event. Note: snowboarders can make the ascent using snowshoes.  

Registration  
Registration costs $10 for Le Massif de Charlevoix season pass holders and $41 for non-pass holders (including an alpine touring ticket).

Participants will have the opportunity to watch two episodes of the series Partis skier (French only) with Thomas Rinfret, a former alpine skier. He will be happy to comment on the episodes, share his insights on the sport, and answer questions from the audience!  

Activity Schedule

  • 8:30 a.m.: Participants welcome under the tent at the base*(group #1 – advanced level)  
  • 9:00 a.m.: Guided departure from the base (group #1 – advanced level)
  • 9:30 a.m.: Participants welcome in the Mer et Monts room at the summit chalet** (group #2 – beginner, intermediate and advanced level)  
  • 10:00 a.m.: Guided departure from the trail access point located near the Camp-Boule Express lift base station (group #2 – beginner, intermediate and advanced level)  
  • 12:00 p.m.: Snack at the summit of mont à Liguori, entertainment and surprises.  
  • 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Screening of two episodes of Partis Skier with Thomas Rinfret in the Mer et Monts room at the summit chalet (French only). A pair of Rossignol alpine touring skis will be awarded by draw among the participants.
  • 4:00 p.m.: Après-ski electro edition with DJ TOMZB at the Pub le Grand-Duc.  

Note: 
*An advanced level is required to participate in the departure from the base.
**Beginners are welcome to start from the summit. However, an intermediate or advanced level in alpine skiing is required for glade skiing.  

A special discount on selected Rossignol products will also be offered to event participants at the shop on Saturday, February 22, 2025, only

The Mountain

During school holidays children aged 6 to 12 years can enjoy our free and super fun workshops, supervised by our teams. Spots are limited, registration is highly recommended.
