For a quick family getaway, the La Goudrelle trail is ideal. In just 20 minutes, this easy trail takes you through a lovely forest near the gondola, leading to the stunning Grande-Pointe waterfall. The kids love tossing stones into the cool water. Before heading back up, enjoy a snack in the gondola while taking in the breathtaking views of the river, making this a memorable outing.

For an easy, accessible walk, La Promenade is perfect for families with young children or strollers. In 1 hour and 30 minutes, you can safely cover the 3-km round trip while exploring the mountain and its various activities. It’s the ideal option for a first family hike or a relaxing outing.

The Le Forestier trail is a must for families looking to escape. This easy-to-intermediate 3.5-hour hike is perfect for young adventurers. The children feel like mountain explorers as they climb the rocky stairs that wind through this section of Le Massif forest. The slightly damp ground often reveals surprises like salamanders along the way. With hidden lookouts offering unexpected views of the river, this hike will transport you far beyond Quebec.

Looking for more excitement? Les Cascades* offers an intermediate-level experience full of surprises. This 5 km loop takes you across cliffs and bridges, with the stunning Saint-François River waterfalls as your backdrop. This carefully designed trail gives you thrills while letting you admire the beauty of the landscapes. 

* Combine the Le Forestier, Saint-François, and Montée des Crinqués trails to make your way back to the base.
