Development projects at Le Massif

We are pleased to provide you with an update on the various projects underway and to come. So many projects undertaken with the deep desire to remain close to the DNA of the Massif to ensure the sustainability of this mountain that we cherish so much.

Le Massif de Charlevoix's development is intended to be small-scale, which is why we strive to optimize the number of units to be developed in the coming years in order to obtain the best possible occupancy rates. This optimization is intended to be respectful of the environment, as we seek minimal development with maximum economic and social impact.

Camp de base

We have recently taken another step in the development of the Camp de base project for which the municipality held a public consultation this week. This project includes the revitalization of the base chalet, located in the Grande-Pointe sector. The vocation of the future developments are multiple. The site will retain Le Chouenneux bar, a legendary Le Massif après-ski venue, and public spaces where visitors can eat and rest.

In addition to this new revamped building, a new accommodation project of approximately 118 units, ski in ski out, will be added. A complement to the current accommodation offer with smaller units.

We will keep you informed of developments once we have received the necessary authorizations and all the details are confirmed.

Employee housing

Developments are progressing well for our brand new employee accommodation building located at the base of the mountain. A great initiative to attract and better serve our future employees.

Camp Boule buvette de montagne

It is with this same vision of development that the Camp boule chalet has been revisited in order to give it back its letters of nobility. This mythical space, which was once the very first chalet at Le Massif, will become a friendly mountain refreshment bar that will preserve the spirit of the place. Stay tuned, we are working on finalizing the location and the restaurant offer.

The Button

The Button, another emblematic site of Le Massif, will be revitalized by giving it a new vocation as a belvedere with a breathtaking view of the region.

Activities

The development of activities is also done with this same thought, new activities based on the optimization of existing infrastructure will be announced soon.

It is with this in mind, with developments that highlight not only the beauty, the raw and wild nature of the territory but also by optimizing the existing facilities that we will achieve the sustainability of the mountain all year round.
