The Bonjour ice sculptures returns to four iconic locations, including Le Massif de Charlevoix

The Alliance, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism under the Bonjour Québec brand, announces the return of Bonjour ice sculptures, which captivated tourists in 2024. The three impressive ice sculptures (Laval, Tremblant, and Le Massif de Charlevoix) generated significant interest, photos, and social media shares in 2024. The experience is now back for a second year in 2025.
This year, four structures will be featured, one more than last year. We are very proud to host one of these sculptures at the top of the Camp Boule sector, at the entrance of the La Bouchard trail.
"This initiative reflects our commitment to offering authentic and unique experiences. Its location fosters interaction and sharing between locals and visitors from all over, whether they come to explore the trails or enjoy our mountaintop restaurant. Just like last year, the ice sculpture is breathtaking and highlights the natural beauty of our destination."
Annie Bouchard, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing, and Communications, Le Massif de Charlevoix
Other sculptures will be on display in Tremblant (Place Saint-Bernard) and Bromont, montagne d’expériences (Eastern Townships). A special feature in 2025 is the addition of a fourth Bonjour ice sculpture, located at the Carnaval de Québec site, which begins on February 6. These four iconic locations of our winter offering attract a wide range of visitors from near and far, increasing social media visibility.
An invitation to share photos of Bonjour ice sculpture
Bonjour ice sculptures are ephemeral winter sculptures inviting visitors to pose and share their photos on social media with the hashtag #BonjourQuebec. Created by Entreprises Godon, the structures incorporate elements representative of each location. Ice sculpture has been practiced in Quebec since the 1890s and is an iconic, popular art form of our Nordic culture.
Take a break and strike a pose!
The invitation is therefore extended to visit these locations, admire the Bonjour ice sculptures, and take photos to share the joy of having such an incredible winter playground.
"Our winters offers visitors unforgettable experiences that last a lifetime. These Bonjour ice sculptures perfectly embody the Nordic spirit of our destination and provide a distinctive visibility. The development of winter tourism is a strategic priority for our government, as we want our communities to benefit from the economic impacts of year-round tourism. I therefore encourage initiatives like this that highlights Quebec’s winter appeal."
Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism and Minister Responsible for the Lanaudière Region
"The Alliance is proud of this initiative, which contributes to Quebec’s reputation as an exceptional winter destination. The Bonjour ice sculptures, rooted in our spectacular winter landscapes, promise unmatched experiences. We hope tourists from and from near and far will share their experiences through vibrant photos and content on social media. These four strategically located sculptures will continue to build our reputation as a creative and welcoming Nordic destination, while promoting year-round tourism."
Geneviève Cantin, CEO of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec
