Your satisfaction and peace of mind are paramount to us, and we are here to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay possible, under all circumstances.

In the event of a lift interruption

Several situations can explain a lift stoppage, such as a guest having difficulty boarding or disembarking from the chair, or a power outage, for example.

Our team members are systematically assessing the situation to take the necessary actions to resume operations as soon as possible.

Please be patient, we have the situation under control and are making every effort to ensure your safe return!

It is important at all times to:

  • Remain calm and maintain a positive and confident attitude.

  • Stay seated in the chair. NEVER jump off the lift.

  • Preserve your body heat by getting closer to your neighbors and wearing a hood or any additional clothing you have.

  • Keep the safety bar down at all times.

In the event that a manual evacuation is necessary, our team members will approach you to provide information about the situation.

Rest assured that:

  • The rescue team is professional and will evacuate you as quickly as possible.

  • Our staff is adequately trained to respond to this type of intervention.

  • Our evacuation equipment is suitable and rigorously inspected.

  • The manual evacuation procedure is a safe measure.

Practical tips:

  • If you have hand warmers or additional clothing, use them.

  • Pay attention to the condition of other passengers on the chair.

  • Prioritize the descent of small children or at-risk individuals, if possible.

Steps of the manual evacuation:

Wait for instructions from the evacuators when they reach your chair and listen carefully to them.

  1. Grab the rope to be able to raise the evacuation seat.

  2. Pull the rope towards you.

  3. Unclip the rope from the blue climbing rope.

  4. Pass the climbing rope through the evacuation ring (centered above your heads) and pull the rope. Once the rope is on the ground, the evacuators will assist you in pulling it.

  5. Once the evacuation seat arrives, pass it UNDER the safety bar.

  6. Sit on the seat and pass the white rope under your armpits, pulling the ring towards you.

  7. When ready, the evacuator will ask other passengers to firmly grip the chair backrest backward BEFORE raising the safety bar.

  8. Lift the safety bar.

  9. Upon the evacuator's signal, the person on the seat should move forward to push themselves off the chairlift while turning.

  10. When the descent begins, push yourself away from the chairlift with your arms.

  11. Other passengers should lower the safety bar.

  12. Once on the ground, wait for instructions for evacuation off the mountain.
